Expectant Mothers’ Travel Policy

Expectant mothers who are below 28 weeks may travel without a doctor’s letter.
However, they must inform the airline if they:

  • Have any pregnancy-related complications, or

Are expecting multiple babies (e.g., twins or more)

Expectant mothers in this stage may travel, but they should inform the airline of:

  • Any complications
  • Multiple pregnancy (twins, triplets, etc.)

A doctor’s letter confirming fitness to fly is required once a passenger reaches 34 weeks.

A pregnant passenger who is 34 weeks or more must:

  • Declare any complications or multiple pregnancy

Provide a medical certificate stating she is fit to travel by air

Expectant mothers are not allowed to fly within 7 days of their estimated date of delivery.

If you do not have a doctor’s letter, you will be required to sign an indemnity form at the check-in counter before travelling.
