Firearms & Weapons Policy for Passengers

  • Declare your firearm or weapon to Airport Security and airline staff before check-in.
  • Firearms must be unloaded, with no ammunition in the chamber.
  • Ammunition must be packed separately in approved containers.
  • Airport Security will inspect and verify that your weapon is safe and unloaded.
  • You will complete a firearm declaration form.

Once accepted, the firearm will be secured in the aircraft hold—never accessible to passengers.

  • Only small arms used for sporting or hunting.
  • Cartridges must meet UN standards (UN0012 / UN0014).

Weapons must be in a strong, secure case.

  • All documentation is kept for regulatory compliance.
