Providing this information in advance allows us to prepare and ensure you have the best possible experience with us.

Use of Personal Wheelchairs & Mobility Aids

We are pleased to welcome passengers travelling with their own wheelchairs or mobility aids. To help us prepare for your journey, kindly email the following details in advance to customerdesk@fly748.com:

  • Dimensions (length × width × height)
  • Total weight
  • Battery type (if applicable)

Your equipment will be carefully handled and securely stowed in the aircraft hold. Our team will gladly assist you throughout check-in and boarding.

For safety reasons, certain battery types are regulated:

  • Wet cell or spillable batteries are not permitted for air travel.
  • Damaged or leaking batteries cannot be accepted.
  • Dry cell and gel (non-spillable) batteries are generally permitted.

Lithium-Ion Batteries

  • If the battery is securely built into the wheelchair and cannot be easily removed, it may remain attached, provided it is protected from accidental activation.
  • If the battery is removable:
  • It must be removed and carried with you in your cabin baggage.
  • The battery terminals must be protected (for example, covered or placed in protective packaging).
  • The battery must be within permitted airline safety limits (typically up to 300Wh, or two batteries up to 160Wh each).
  • Spare batteries must always travel in cabin baggage, not in checked luggage.

Pet Policy

At 748 Air Services, we understand that pets are part of the family. However, we are currently unable to transport pets or live animals on any of our flights—both in the cabin and as checked baggage.
We kindly ask all passengers to make alternative travel arrangements for their pets before flying with us.
