Baggage Allowance
All passengers are permitted one (1) piece of hand baggage subject to the following limits:
- Maximum weight: 5 kg
- Maximum dimensions: 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm
Any hand baggage exceeding these dimensions but within the allowable weight will be required to be checked in as hold baggage and will attract an applicable charge.
- Fly 748 allows 10 kg of checked baggage per passenger.
- Infants not occupying a seat are not entitled to any baggage allowance.
- Passengers must be able to activate electronic devices (e.g. laptops, cameras, CD players) at the security checkpoint.
- Devices that cannot be activated must be placed in checked baggage.
- Mobile phones must be switched off at all times during the flight.
Permitted electronic devices onboard include: - Voice recorders
- Calculators
- Laptop computers
- Handheld CD players
- Portable electronic games
- Photographic equipment
For safety and security reasons, the following items are not permitted in hand baggage and should be checked in:
- Knives, swords, pocketknives
- Scissors and sharp or bladed objects (e.g. ice picks, nail clippers)
- Weapons such as batons, whips, or stun guns
- Toy guns or gun-shaped items, including handcuffs
- Sporting equipment (e.g. bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, billiard cues)
- Devices containing spillable batteries
- Liquids and aerosols exceeding 100 ml (including perfumes, hair sprays, alcohol-based medicines)
- Baby strollers
- Any item deemed a security risk under local regulations
- Any items resembling or performing similar functions to those listed above
Note: Items confiscated at the boarding gate by local authorities may not be returned.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and portable music players
- Non-metallic nail files
- Syringes or needles for personal medical use (with needle guard in place), accompanied by medication in its original labeled container
Passengers are advised to verify that their hand baggage meets the specified size, weight, and quantity requirements before proceeding to the departure area. Baggage sizers are available at check-in counters and at the entrance to departure halls.
Hand baggage that does not conform to the stated limits may be denied access to the departure area, requiring passengers to return to the check-in counter.
Any un-booked or additional baggage will be charged at a higher airport rate (double the published rates). Passengers are strongly encouraged to book baggage in advance.

Damaged Baggage Policy
If your baggage is damaged when you arrive at your destination, you must report it immediately.
You will be required to sign the Damaged or Lost Baggage Form at the airport.
Claims made later will not be accepted.
If your checked baggage is damaged, the issue must be brought to the Company’s attention in writing at the time of delivery, by completing the Damaged/Lost Baggage Form.
Each case of damage will be reviewed individually, depending on the extent of the damage.
What is NOT considered damage?
The following are not eligible for compensation:
- Scratches
- Scuffs
- Minor dents
- Open or misaligned zippers
Any liability or compensation for damaged baggage will not exceed USD $100 per bag.
The Company is not responsible for the following items if packed inside checked baggage:
- Cash
- Credit cards
- Jewelry
- Cameras
- Computers
- Other valuables
These items should always be carried in your hand baggage.
